We have streamlined our course delivery so that it’s relaxed and educational while ensuring minimum downtime for you or your group.
Covering the basics of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), our courses can be completed within one day. Consisting of short pre-reading and a theoretical quiz, in addition to 1.5 to 4 hours of practical supported learning & assessment, our First Aid courses allows you to complete your certification efficiently.
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID009 is the annual cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) qualification. This certification consists of one short pre-reading/assessment and a 1.5 hour practical learning/assessment. This course is designed to help you keep your qualification up to date in the most efficient way possible.
Our CPR courses include annual reminders to renew your qualification, so you’re never caught out.

Written assessments for First Aid courses must be successfully completed within 7 days of practical workshop. Failure to do so may result in requirement of re-enrolment and associated fees.

First aid training Delivery Options
In-Person Course
All of the material is delivered face to face, both theory and practical training.
Our CPR courses include annual reminders to renew your qualification, so you’re never caught out.
Hybrid Course
You can complete the theory online at your own pace.
And when you are ready drop into our office during a specified time frame to complete the practical hands-on training.
First Aid Hybrid Model
Duration: 30 mins in person, approx. 3.5 hours of online study.

Are you short on time but want quality?
Our hybrid model is the fit for you!
Removing the lengthy in-person commitment, our hybrid model focuses on quality student-led learning and efficient in-person practical drop ins.
The content includes:
- Watching a webinar – approx. 1.5 hrs
- Complete (optional) e-learning – 1 hr
- Read your Learner guide – 20min
- Complete your online quiz (Task 1) 40mins
The above is all done by the you in your own time from home. To then complete the course, you choose a time* to come into one of our available locations in Stirling, Gawler and Maitland to complete practical assessments. These will take between 20-30 minutes.
- Task 2, complete practical demonstrations as led by a trainer
- Task 3, complete an incident form based on your practical scenario
After you complete all the tasks and have paid your course fee you will be issued your certificate.

*Times available for students to drop in for practicals are:
Mondays 8:30am – 1pm
Wednesdays 8:30am – 3pm
Fridays 9:30am-4pm
If you require a different time, please get in touch with us and we will do what we can to accommodate it.
Training takes place at The Ranges Infant Toddler Centre next door to our main office.
