Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care – Updated Entry Requirements CHC50125
To enrol in the Diploma, you must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Qualification
You must hold one of the following:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
(CHC30121 or CHC30113)
✅ No employment evidence required
OR
- Certificate III in Children’s Services
(Australian Qualification)

Only required if you hold an Australian Certificate III in Children’s Services
You must provide verifiable evidence of at least 12 months full-time equivalent employment (approx. 1976 hours) within the last 5 years in a regulated education and care service in Australia.
- Part-time and casual hours can be combined across different roles or employers.
- Acceptable evidence includes:
- Statement of service from employer(s) confirming hours worked
- Payslips or employment contracts
- Timesheets or rosters (if needed for confirmation)
